This policy explains what personal information iStoreGH collects, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to istoregh.com and our related communications. We handle personal data in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
iStoreGH is a retailer of genuine Apple products based in Accra, Ghana. For any privacy question, contact us at info@istoregh.com or on WhatsApp at 0206242422. For the purposes of Act 843, iStoreGH is the data controller of the personal data described here.
Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number and delivery address; your account password (stored only in encrypted/hashed form); your date of birth, only if you choose to provide it for birthday offers; the contents of your orders and any messages you send us.
Information collected automatically: basic technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies” below).
Payment information: card and mobile-money payments are processed by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number or PIN — only a confirmation of whether a payment succeeded, and limited order references.
We use your information to process and deliver your orders; create and manage your account; send you order, payment and delivery updates by email and SMS; provide customer support; send birthday offers and newsletters where you have opted in; detect and prevent fraud; understand and improve how the store is used; and meet our legal and tax obligations. We rely on your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate business interests, and legal obligations as the lawful bases for this processing.
We share personal data only as needed to run the store, and never sell it. Specifically, with:

When you first visit, we ask for your choice and load analytics and marketing cookies only after you allow them (using Google Consent Mode). You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Your preference is remembered for 12 months.
We keep order and transaction records for as long as needed to fulfil your order and to meet legal, accounting and tax requirements. Account information is kept while your account is active and is deleted or anonymised on request, unless we must retain it by law.
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted (SSL/TLS) connections and secure password hashing. Full payment-card details are never stored on our servers. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any issue.
Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct or update it; ask us to delete it; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent at any time (including for marketing). To exercise any of these, email info@istoregh.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission of Ghana (dataprotection.org.gh).
We send marketing emails and birthday offers only if you opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email, by replying STOP to a marketing SMS, or by emailing us. Transactional messages about your orders are not marketing and will still be sent.
iStoreGH is intended for customers aged 18 and over and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes may be highlighted on the site.
